Dear Parents,

<*dv_1*> We are off to a good start with a busy week in our classroom. Miss Rohleder began teaching Spelling and Handwriting today. She continues with Math and will add some Reading and Language as the week continues.

Memory Work: Tuesday - Lesson 69
Wednesday - Lesson 70
Thursday - Lesson 71

A note about attendance: PLEASE do your best to schedule appointments after school hours. If your child is absent, please pick up the assignments at the end of the day. Thanks.

Achievement Testing was finished last week.

<*dv_4*>Spelling Test Unit 26 on Friday.

<*dv_2*>Dr. Diffendahl was our guest today with a presentation about volcanoes. Mr. Raders will visit us on Friday and talk about minerals, gems and semiprecious gemstones.

<*dv_3*>Thank you for your field trip money. The 2 parents selected today to go with us are
Mrs. Keech and Mrs. Friedrich. I drew sticks for this honor! Please respond ASAP whether you can or cannot go with us. Other parents are welcome to carpool and come along. Your fee will be $6 for the museum activities.

<*dv_0*>Look for the note about the Karaoke activity Saturday for the Sundermann family. Participate in any way you can. Note that the Bake Sale can use your baking talents.

Reminder: After 3 tardies in any given quarter, a detention is issued. Several of our classmates have 2 tardies already in this quarter.

Dress Code: Clothing with holes is not to be worn to school. Capris are shorts and are not to be worn until after April 15.

Worship with your family this week for Lent or on Sunday.

Mrs. Warneke
