<*dv_0*>CAT Tests for grades 2-8

Achievement tests are set to be given the week of March 22-26 for grades 2-8. These tests help our school in several ways. First, they fulfill the requirement of testing by the State of Nebraska. Second, they help our school evaluate strengths and weaknesses in our curriculum. The test results help us evaluate textbook series and their overall coverage of subject material. Probably most important for our students, the tests help show their growth in various subject matter areas as individuals and as a class.

<*dv_1*> Parents can help their student do their best by:

1. Ensuring their students have a proper amount of sleep before and during testing.

<*dv_3*> 2. Seeing that their students come to school after eating a proper breakfast.

3. Seeing that their students have adequate time to complete other school work each day after school.

<*dv_2*>4. Seeing that their students have a time of relaxation each day after school.
